SEI Oilfield Services is currently seeking an experienced assistant field supervisor to join our Jourdanton, TX (San Antonio area) operation.

The position does require hands on oilfield facility construction and maintenance experience.

Job Summary: Under minimal supervision, responsible for ensuring that excellent customer service is provided to all customers within assigned areas. This goal is achieved by supervising and providing training to employees. Requires excellent customer skills, strong knowledge, and the ability to lead and develop others. Drive the sales and profitability of the company by fostering long-term loyalty bonds between our employees and our customers. Ability to supervise operations within the assigned area, multi-task in all situations, and promote overall safety.

Salary and Benefits:

Essential Work Functions:

  • Maintains, delegates, and assigns multiple crews to multiple locations and prioritizes jobs
  • Ensures and provides parts supplies on job sites when necessary
  • Travel to multiple sites to check progress and communicate with crew members
  • Completes a final walk through inspection of all completed jobs
  • Train, coach, and develop employees
  • Manages employee performance through communication goals, documenting and evaluating their performance; develops employees by providing informal and formal performance-based feedback
  • Partners with Human Resources to enforce work rules and safety policies
  • Recruits and staffs open positions and participates in interview process for applicants; partners with Human Resources regarding hiring information
  • Promotes a clean and safe work environment
  • Ability to effectively work under conditions consistent with a normal oil and gas construction environment.

Experience Required:

  • Requires a minimum of 2 years of supervisory level experience in the oilfield with hands on experience in facility construction and maintenance
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter and drives business
