JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Business Analyst - QHSE Business Process Lead (BPL) acts as the liaison to the Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) functions and represents both IT and QHSE interests in the review and selection of all systems, software and interfaces pertaining to QHSE processes and operational transactions. This role will work closely with the QHSE and Operations business process owners. This position will research and assess the impact of proposed new processes, working with third-party consultants, business and Nabors' Information Technology personnel to develop business cases, project charters, project plans, dashboards, etc., as required. Ensuring that the processes and supporting technologies and all IT services are delivered, on-time, and on budget.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Facilitates Business Process Architecture for QHSE
  • As required, liaising with other IT service areas to assure complete integration of solutions to optimize overall QHSE systems performance and provide regular updates to the QHSE stakeholders
  • Understand business needs and impact of product backlog items to prioritize development
  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog items through completion for HSE suite of applications
  • Works closely with business partners to address needs and represent the IT organization in a positive manner
  • Manages agile team and performs all daily requirements
  • Identify key metrics and KPIs which drive performance of QHSE organization and report periodically to business stakeholders on these metrics
  • Identify Opportunities for Improvement in business processes
  • Identify positive and negative trends in process and data, and recommend relevant solutions and enhancements
  • Create process roadmaps (with technology solutions) and maintain the processes repository encouraging reusability
  • Business Process IT Lead for QHSE Area
  • Provide updates on system projects that have been funded and committed
  • Facilitate discussion regarding proposed projects to determine priority thru providing budgetary cost and time estimates
  • Drive the development of a long-term system roadmap for the business process
  • Review with the committee and take action on service and support issues connected with applications within the business process
  • Identify business process owners and form committees and sub-committees, as necessary, to gain consensus on enterprise-wide QHSE standards
  • Liaise with the business stakeholders to understand needs and deliver solutions timely and on budget

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Possesses a basic understanding of the functional processes of the business areas supported
  • Awareness of best practices in the technology industry as it relates to their work
  • Experience managing people

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

 

  • Experience implementing/managing ticketing / incident and problem management systems
  • Specific experience related to QHSE organizational management
