Our Client, an independent power and energy consultancy located in the UK, recognised for both Technical and Commercial expertise and having developed a track record and reputation with energy clients in UK and worldwide, for providing expert advice in developing energy strategy, assessing commercial aspects and engineering support for energy projects, are currently seeking a Senior Process Operations Engineer of the highest calibre for a contract role in the UK.
A robust and proven track record as a Process Engineer at senior level is required to be in a position to consider this vacancy.
Candidates must have extensive North Sea operational experience.
Extensive experience having worked directly for Oil & Gas Operators would be highly advantageous.
The Senior Process Operations Engineer will be an onshore focal point for Production Operations activity.
The successful incumbent will be accountable for providing process design, optimisation, technical support and advice on all aspects of offshore production operations to ensure maximisation of production within safe operating limits.
Principal accountability's will include HAZOPs, HAZIDs and other relevant safety reviews, Root Cause Analysis and perform a relevant onshore Emergency Response support role if required.
Applications are invited from experienced candidates whom can assist with the formulation and development of conceptual facilities engineering designs into functional scopes of work for new and existing assets in an effective and economical manner.
The role will include Senior Process/Production Engineering support of fixed, floating and subsea operations.
Significant design and operational knowledge of topsides, wells, pipelines and flow assurance. FPSO and subsea facilities equipment and unit operations is a prerequisite from the Client.
Candidates must be a Degree Qualified / Chartered Member MIChemE and proof provided on request.
