Our client is a world leading MNC in the oil and gas, specialized in LNG sector. They are building a LNG plant, floating storage and export facility and they are seeking for a very qualified Deputy Project Director to manage main areas of the project



The Deputy Project Director responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage and oversee EPC contractor's arrangement during office transitioning to site
  • Supervise full aspects of PMT team from operations to construction and safety
  • Give insights and feedback to project execution plans and procedures
  • Coordinate PMT and contractors activities to facilitate submissions and approvals of all Canadian Federal, Provincial and local permits for project execution
  • Ensure all Canadian regulations, environmental and quality standard are met.
  • Accountable for quality of plant, risk and change management
  • Accountable for managing cost, schedule, timeline and forecasting of delivery of the project within the budget
  • Provide accurate reporting in a timely manner



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • Experience in execution phase key roles in project management, construction and commissioning management
  • Has vast and strong knowledge/experience in field construction and commissioning of LNG, gas compression and gas processing facilities
  • Has practical working knowledge/experience in HSSE, Quality, Contracts, Project Controls (Cost and Planning), Procurement and Materials Management
  • At least 10+ years of direct supervisory experience managing large teams
  • Strong ability to handle and balance technical decision making with considerations of guarding project cost and objectives
  • Strong written and oral communication skills



Must Haves

  • Involved and worked on >$1Billion EPC projects before
  • 20+ years of project experience in major capital projects in the oil and gas industry, including LNG project experience
  • Willing to travel country-wide and globally
