Coordinate purchasing and maintain inventory control on incoming and out-going parts for repairs, maintenance and shipping for shop and field jobs. Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records concerned with cycle counts and storing and issuing of material.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communicate and coordinate with all appropriate managers and supervisors for the purchase of all materials and services for the repair, or manufacture, of WEATHERFORD Equipment, both in the shop and in the field.
Proper accounting of all purchased goods and services using established procedures for coding, distribution and recording.
Open, record and maintain repair orders and all goods and services purchased for them.
Maintain inventory database by continually updating pertinent information with regard to cost changes, stocking levels, on hand quantities and consumption (usage).
Coordinate physical inventory of shop and field inventories, as required, using established and approved procedures.
Be able to run cycle count reports, locate and count parts and update data in JDE system after approval of count.
Must be able to research any item on cycle count report not found in inventory.
Prepare and present inventory reports.
May assist in shipping and/or receiving of goods and products.
May perform duties of Warehouse Operator if needed.
Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Good communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to use diplomatic skills in dealing with company and outside customer personnel
Should be able to work closely with internal and external customers
Excellent computer knowledge and skills
Five (5) years experience in purchasing and inventory control
General knowledge of purchasing, inventory control and oilfield related parts
The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
A/P and A/R experience
