We are seeking a Senior Process & Control System Technician to work under Northern Area Gas Producing Department serving Karan, Arabiyah and Hasbah offshore gas facilities in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Senior Process & Control System Technician performs fault diagnosis and field repair by subassembly replacement or control loop tuning on real time plant process control systems. Also, will install and commission new equipment.
The successful candidate should hold a formal training and certifications related to the job.
You must have a minimum of 11 years' experience in process control and measurement systems maintenance, with at least 4 years in high pressure sour gas offshore fields with an operating company.
You must have experience in maintenance of the following communication systems:
Process CCTV, fire and gas detectors, flowmeters (venturi, orifice, ultrasonic), common type of protocols OPC and Profibus; or
Modbus for interfacing of serial or Ethernet connectivity between devices, Siemens PCS7 and Yokogawa Prosafe logic solvers, supervisory control and data acquisition systems (SCADA), safety systems, electrical PLC's, Prosafe safety systems programmable logic controllers, field instrumentations, and STATCOM.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You are expected to be able to perform the following:
Maintain, repair and optimize all control equipment in the area assigned, both field-based and control room- based.
Perform specialized installation and troubleshooting tasks and to maintain configuration databases under minimum supervision.
Troubleshoot field and control room processes and equipment using appropriate test equipment and diagnostics.
Respond effectively to emergency fault conditions anywhere in assigned area, without assistance.
Advise and implement preventative maintenance and diagnostic procedures based on vendor technical information and manufacturer's specifications.
Interpret or prepare technical drawings from simple schematics to complex PID's, ILD's and PLC ladder logic diagrams.
Perform detailed functional tests on systems integrated from different vendors.
