Ensure quality, engineering and process procedures are followed to produce a product that maintains a high standard for Weatherford customers.


Select products at specified stages in production process and inspect deminionally for accuracyRecord test Inspection data, applying quality control procedures.

Inspect process and paperwork in the machine and assembly shops to ensure procedural standards are being followed.  A first article inspection as well as multiple spot inspections of all in process parts.

Receive incoming product:  Inspect for dimensional, traceability, count, and material conformance.

Generate and log scrap reports, non-conformance reports, receiving inspection reports, as well as other internal departmental forms.

Recommend modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.

Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Must know and understand the Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality System Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Work Place Instructions.

Understand and comply with all safety requirements, environmental requirements and Weatherford company policies.



Basic English reading, writing and speaking

Good verbal communication skills.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English including oral instruction.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Ability to read common measuring devices; tapes, micrometers, calipers, etc.

Ability to work closely with fellow employees.

Participate and adapt successfully in a team oriented environment.

Committed to continual learning and punctuality.

Basic knowledge of computer operation, Windows, and Microsoft Office.

2-4 years in a Quality related function.

The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.

Familiar with MSDS sheets and PPE required when working with volatile chemicals.


Knowledge of the ISO9001 Standard

Experience in Manufacturing / Machining environment.
