Generate business and increase revenues in the US Region through sales of Weatherford Automation & Software products and services. Based in Katy, TX.


Inside phone sales selling Cloud (Hosting) Software and Services throughout defined Region(s).   

Develop and maintain contact with key decision makers within the customer base. 

Work closely with and assist Region sales personnel, customers and potential customers on the technical issues of software and automation. 

Develop new business through use of inside phone sales, resellers and distributors.

Work closely with technical support, region operations for product service and support.

Conduct sales presentations, demos and as required, face to face customer meetings.

Up to 10% Travel.

Work with other sales staff in the region to maximize lead generation.  

Provide input as to changing market conditions of customers to assist in the development of the marketing strategy.   

Generate and submit bids to existing and potential customers as needed    

Relate field/customers issues to technical support and services to ensure resolution.     

Visit customer worksites, if required to ensure that product meets customer expectations.  

Work with local services infrastructure to ensure customer satisfaction.  

Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.  

Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.   

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor.



Excellent written and oral communications skills.

Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications.

High School diploma or higher.


High level of motivation.

Sales Quota driven

Ability to work independently as well as work as a member of a team.

Inside or Outside phone sales experience selling or supporting software or automation.

Team Player

Valid driver's license.

Cloud software knowledge.

Aggressive sales

Ability to drive and manage sales process to closure for software and automation Sales

The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
