Provide advice and assistance to all Transocean Personnel in all Health, Safety and Environment related aspects of the company's management systems and operations. Assist in the development of HSE Training related material and initiatives while offering strategic solutions.
Act as Subject Matter Resource for development of the OI & HSE Management System training material.
Assist with the development, scheduling and facilitation of OI & HSE initiatives as needed.
Act as Subject Matter Resource providing input to develop and maintain HSE related training as required and facilitate workshops when requested.
Assist with HSE related issues as required.
Provide HSE support to Operations in meetings with customers, regulators and executive management as required.
Research and distribute HSE information & Initiatives for awareness by liaising and participating with external groups.
Actively participate in and represent Transocean within IADC as required or requested
Provide input to the CMS documentation, as required.
Provide input and support for HSE related IT applications and initiatives as required.
Provide input in the development of Safety related materials for the Safety Catalog.
2 or 4 year degree preferred or relevant experience in graphic design, communications and training background.
Preferred 2 years of experience or degree in graphic design, communications and training experience in HSE related training.
Strong background in graphic design and communications. Good problem solving, planning and organizational skills with the ability to work with minimum supervision. Highly proficient in communication, both written and verbal. Proficient in MS Office suite products and other common software applications. Ability to represent departmental interests in internal and external forums. Ability to work autonomously and represent Transocean's interests in HSE-related events and programs.
Ability to travel to internationally and to mobile offshore drilling units as necessary.
Responsible for the timely submission and accurate documentation of work related expenses.
