JOB DESCRIPTION

Plan, maintain and analyse production and sales requirements, compares progress to schedule, resolves scheduling conflicts, assess data and coordinates solutions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan & maintain inventory levels on all products in distribution center

Prepare 12 month rolling forecast to manufacturing monthly or as required for DC

Order equipment from manufacturing and outside vendors to supply the distribution center

Coordinate distribution center orders shortages and communicate with manufacturing and    provide feedback to management and operations coordinators as needed.

Coordinate with Distribution Center Supervisor on daily shipping/receiving activities

Review promised dates with manufacturing customer service reps to ensure equipment maintains steady flow into distribution center.

Communicate order status to Operation coordinators and advise of any rescheduling

Coordinate stock issues and prevent outages

Attend meetings as required to provide detailed updates on the planning and management of promised dates.

Keep measurements of DC's KPI's and communicate to management

Coordinate and order for operations coordinators as needed

Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford

Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

General computer knowledge including the use of Microsoft Office products.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong math skills including the use of decimals, percentages and fractions.

Ability to effectively work with employees, supervisors, vendors, and customers.

General knowledge of planning systems used in manufacturing environment.

The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.

Preferred:

Prior experience with JD Edwards software or other MRP systems preferred.

Prior experience in a machine shop environment preferred.

Bachelor degree or higher preferred.
