JOB DESCRIPTION

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Be responsible for mechanical changes to directional drilling operations to ensure proper navigation at well site as well as M/LWD (Measurement/Logging While Drilling) downhole services.  Be responsible for BHA (Bottom Hole Assembly) being assembled as per well/engineering plan.  Operate, inspect and maintain motors and downhole tools at rig site.  Generate daily and Final Well reports on services performed.  Maintain well profile plots and provide customer with directional survey data.  Collaborate with DD/MWD/LWD team to ensure BHA specification and engineering optimization parameters are realized.  Be responsible for operation of LWD field surface software, rig up and rig down of equipment as well as operation and configuration of downhole LWD tools.  Be responsible for data quality provided to customer.  Participate in field incident root cause analysis. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

Three years' oilfield service field experience in either directional drilling or M/LWD operations. Travel to Texas and Louisiana and various unanticipated worksites.
