JOB DESCRIPTION

In support of assigned geo-area business unit management operations and in alignment with regional business unit objectives, oversee the development, implementation, monitoring, auditing and continual improvement efforts of the business unit quality management plan. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Communicate, monitor, and assess implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) policies and initiatives at assigned facility/facilities and ensure alignment with applicable industry specifications.

Assist in the development of quality plans in conformance with customer requirements, engineering specifications, and product schedules.

Assist local management efforts to develop and implement use of standardized Region and/or Global work instructions and other QMS-related documentation.

Liaise with Operations personnel and other Geo-Area QHSSE staff as necessary to schedule and coordinate internal and external QMS audits.

Schedule and participate in management reviews of the business unit service quality objectives.

Work with management of the assigned facility/facilities to support and ensure implementation of Preventative Maintenance (PM) programs critical to service quality.

Ensure Business Unit support and use of enterprise solutions for monitoring performance, managing change, tracking costs of quality, and tracking, trending, analysis, and reporting of critical business unit performance metrics (i.e. customer satisfaction, service quality incidents/trends, corrective/preventive actions, improvement efforts, etc.) within assigned facility/facilities.

Assist with implementation, training and usage of corporate enterprise solutions (WPTS, Stellent, SharePoint, etc.) within assigned facility/facilities.

Assist with implementation of BU-specific systems and tools developed to ensure or enhance employee competence and customer satisfaction.

Work closely with BU Operations on the introduction of new products and technology ensuring proper process communication and control as per the QMS policy and procedures.

Perform completion of root cause analysis (RCA) investigations for service quality incidents and ensure corrective actions are identified, assigned, communicated, and tracked to completion.

Assist investigations of employee injury incidents as necessary from initial investigation to incident/investigation closure. Relate with all departments internally and externally as necessary to maintain and enhance the Company's reputation for Quality.

Consistently promote an increased awareness of QMS requirements, initiatives, and efforts to internal employees, and ensure that all subcontractors and suppliers are aware of, and in alignment with, Company QMS requirements.

Submit all required reports on a timely basis.

Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the QMS.

Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

5 years O&G industry experience

Fundamental knowledge of Business Unit products and services

Proficient verbal and written communication skills

Advanced computer skills with specific knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Leadership and team building skills

Ability to manage multiple projects directly or as part of a team

Ability to create a positive and cooperative work environment

High School Diploma

Minimum 2-5+ years related experience with demonstrated competencies with University/College

The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations

The ability to travel as required by scope of job duties Organizational and

Communication Skills requisite to assist in maintaining an audit schedule with sufficient notice to facilities and allowing for successful completion of audits

Preferred:

Extensive knowledge of applicable business unit equipment and processes

Experience managing ISO/API quality management systems

Holder of an acceptable Bachelor's degree in engineering or applicable science

Holder of an auditing certification of equivalence to an ISO or similar certifying body Management System

Ability to work with multiple levels within the Company creating a favorable impression.

Ability to work flexible schedule as job duties may require for optimum performance

Background in root cause analysis and investigation
