We are seeking an experienced OIE (Offshore Integrity Engineer) to work for a leading Oil & Gas Operator in the UAE.
This position is a permanent staff position available on a 28/28 rotation to Offshore Dubai.
Offshore Integrity Engineer (OIE) Role:
This role will see you be responsible for the co-ordination and supervision of the Asset and Operating Integrity Assurance (A&OIA) activities for offshore facilities, including static mechanical equipment, piping, flowlines and structures.
You will act as the companies point of contact and liaison between operations, maintenance, inspection teams and A&OIA team, in support of the day to day management if inspection activities.
Responsibilities will include; coordinating the various operations, maintenance, A&OIA, and inspection contractors, undertaking planned inspections, opportunity inspection and anomaly/failure investigations, report findings, develop scopes of work, performance management of offshore inspection contractors and support operations / maintenance by witnessing key inspections.
Offshore Integrity Engineer (OIE) Requirements:
We are ideally seeking for you to have a Bachelor degree in a relevant Engineering discipline, as well as the following qualifications/certifications:
- API 510 Certified Pressure Vessel Inspector
- ASNT Level II in Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Liquid Penetrant Testing and Radiography Testing.
- National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) or British Gas Painting Costing Certifications.
- Certification Scheme of Welding and Inspection Personnel (CSWIP) / American Welding Institute (AWS) Welding Inspector.
We are looking for an OIE with 10 years in-service inspection experience (ideally offshore), with a minimum of 5 years as an OIE.
We are looking for you to have a thorough knowledge of engineering practises and calculation methods, design details, codes and static equipment's standards and specifications from the ASTM, ASME and API.
You should have a strong knowledge of inspection procedures, techniques and management systems such as RBI.
As this is a rotational role, the package will include Salary, Offshore Allowance, Medical Insurance and a discretionary Bonus.
