MAIN ACTIVITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Under the supervision of the IASE, monitor the operations of several areas to eliminate hazardous activities

• Ensure on assigned areas the daily monitoring, supervision and inspection on works activities (work permit, safety task assignments, Job safety analysis)

• Liaise with the ASE of its assigned areas and carry out safety behavior observations and coach / support field operations and contractor teams to meet the required standards;

• Provide technical support and advice to the ASE of its assigned areas on HSE issues

• Assist the ASE of its assigned areas in delivering Toolbox talks (TBTs) and other safety topics;

• Conducts regular inspections, safety audits, hazard assessment at the assigned areas;

• Take participation in work permit review and approval

• Provides regular communication and updates about any changes that may affect the safety of activities of the FFSD on its assigned areas;

• Detect and point out any abnormal situations, report to the IASE or Control Room and take conservatory measures;

• Provide a daily report of HSE activities on the assigned areas

• Identifies hazards and potential risks and assist operations and contractors staff with eliminating or mitigating those hazards;

• Conducts first level investigations of incidents;

• Serves as core member of the site emergency response team at the assigned area;

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to interact effectively with individuals in a wide range of situations, circumstances and settings as well as the ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce to achieve stated HSE objectives.

• Ability to act appropriately in emergency situations.

• Ability to interpret and effectively communicate technical documents such as Job Safety Analysis to workers and any other appropriate personnel.

• Ability to effectively communicate HSE requirements and values

• Good knowledge of Total HSE Safety Rules and PTW System.

• Knowledge of the FPSO's equipment and systems

• Fluent English and Operational French (Level > 2).

• Trained in first aid • BOSIET/HUET and Offshore Medical Certificate required

• Team spirit, obeys the rules, is orderly, reliable and rigorous
