JOB TITLE: Hyperion Technical Managers
LOCATION: 515 W. GREENS ROAD, HOUSTON, 77067, UNITED STATES
Duties: Design, develop, install and administer applications in multiple Hyperion modules including Planning, HFM, Essbase, FDM, FDMEE, ODI, EPMA, Account Reconciliation manager (ARM) and Financial Close Management (FCM). Maintain user security group and role models, ensuring user access compliance. Upgrade Hyperion to newer versions. Meet Business users to gather and analyze requirements and provide solutions that fit with in the Hyperion functionality. Communicate and coordinate with business stakeholders across multiple departments and geographical locations to ensure project design, development, testing, training, implementation and support objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames. Manage Oracle Hyperion team that provides support in resolving the day to day issues in Hyperion Planning, HFM, Essbase, and ARM. Responsible for the performance and availability of Hyperion products. Mange project teams and key stakeholders on assessment, design and implementation of Hyperion Planning, Essbase, HFM and ARM solutions. Ensure ongoing maintenance and support of business rules, calculations, scripts, forms, smartview templates, and reports with focus of continual improvement and efficiency. Maintain, enhance and troubleshoot Hyperion business rules and calculation scripts. Maintain metadata including extracting, loading and updating metadata structure. Manage integration of data into Hyperion from various source systems including Oracle EBS. Perform improvement for Hyperion Essbase. Manage member formula changes, application and database tuning, MDX formulas, calculation script changes and other Essbase related objects through the company's software development life-cycle process. Configure and utilize Life Cycle management. Ensure Planning and Forecasting processes run smoothly in HFM, Planning and Essbase applications. Coordinate issue resolution with internal IT and external technical support providers. Support corporate and remote users with Hyperion applications and Smart View. Participate in the analysis of the efficiency and effectiveness of current departmental processes and procedures and ultimately help to implement identified improvements. Maintain internal and external security policy compliance with EPM environment.
Requirements: Employer will accept Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or related field, and 5 years of work experience in job offered, or 5 years of work experience in a Hyperion engineering-related occupation.
