Job Summary

This position is located in Anadarko's corporate headquarters in The Woodlands, TX and is part of the Tax Compliance Team.

  • The ideal candidate for this position must possess the following qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of state tax experience required
  • Knowledge of Corptax and SAP preferred with solid skillset in Excel
  • Ability to gather and analyze data used as support for state income and franchise tax returns
  • Ability to research state tax issues as they arise

  • Prepare state income and franchise tax returns, attachments, and documentation.
  • Prepare corporate annual filings.
  • Researches and analyzes multi-state laws to determine taxability.
  • Reconciles or reviews assigned tax liability accounts.
  • Special projects as assigned


Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required. Master's Degree preferred.

Grade and salary will be commensurate with relevant education and experience.


CPA strongly preferred


This position is not eligible for relocation.

Travel Requirements

The percentage of travel required for this position is 0-10%

Work Schedule

This position is eligible for the 9/80 work schedule.
