Raeburn are currently recruiting for a QHSE Manager on a full time, permanent basis for our Aberdeen based client.

The Role
Provide proactive health, safety, environmental and quality support and management to the workforce and Directors. Responsible for the overall supervision and management of QHSE for the Company.

Duties and Responsibilities
?Focal point for all QHSE activity.
?Interface for communication between the Company and Client.
?Maintain the QHSE Management System.
?Conduct internal audits and inspections and facilitate external audits.
?Advise on legislation changes and industry initiatives
?Identify and review improvements to working procedures and methods of working
?Monitor for compliance to QHSE
?Investigate and review near misses, accidents and incidents
?Provide QHSE input into tenders.
?Participation and chair Management Review meetings
?Provide analysis and trend data on QHSE information and statistics
?Facilitate and conduct QHSE Meetings, presentations and training/awareness sessions
?Contributes to the development of operational/HR processes e.g. Competence Assessment, Training Matrix, Apprentice Training Programme
?Demonstrates commitment to QHS&E e.g. actively promotes safe working practices, ensures QHS&E communications and instructions are understood and adhered to
?May undertake competency assessments of Workshop personnel

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

?Formal education and training in a technical and/or safety related discipline (NEBOSH qualification preferred)
?Internal QMS Auditor trained
?Member of IOSH

?IOSH Managing Environmental Responsibilities (or similar)
?Emergency response
?Risk management
?Incident investigation/root cause analysis
?Behavioural based safety
?Lead Auditor

Experience/Knowledge Required
?Demonstration of suitable experience in a relevant / similar job role
?Firm grasp of health and safety legislation.
?Previous experience working in implementing and adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standard requirements.
?Previous auditing (internal and external) experience.
?Experience in accident and incident investigation.
?Oil and Gas experience.

Additional Skills/Requirements
?Good level of computer literacy.
?Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with all levels in Company and Client organisations.
?Ability to use initiative and work under limited supervision.
?Strong team player.
