Mainline Maintenance Welder
Experience with welding on but not limited to - in service high pressure pipe lines for attachment of full sleeves and fittings, tie in pipe line welds in field conditions, directing fit up and installation of line up clamps, installation of TOR and associated stopple fitting on in service high pressure lines, fabrication of new piping for pump stations, launcher and receiver facilities and general structural welding including be able to fit bends, off sets and flanges.
All welding must be performed in compliance with all applicable client and regulatory requirements as well as API section 1104 or section 9 of ASME Boiler and Pressure vessel code.
Welder must pass API 1104 based welding test prior to employment. Welder must demonstrate ability to perform Low Hydrogen ( 7018 ) welds for both in service and new construction as well as 5P as well as combination procedures of the two
Welder must be able to pass API 1104 based client specific test - Low Hydrogen run outs, butter passes, 8" butt & branch etc.
Welder must be able to pass API 1104 based x-ray weld procedures in field conditions on tie -ins
Welder must be able bevel and grind and fit all welds
Welder must be able to read and apply IFC P&IDs for construction
Welder must meet basic tool load out requirement for EnerMech
Welder must have a verifiable work history in the above.
Be able to work in bad weather
Physically be able to climb stairs/ladders as well as in and out of excavations
Valid Drivers License
Be able to pass drug screens and be in DOT testing pool
