We encourage your interest in joining our team and pursuing the many opportunities we have at Targa. We are seeking an experienced Senior/Lead Benefits Representative in our Houston office. The Benefits Representative is responsible for the administration of employee benefits companywide. As needed, this position provides employee assistance on benefit plans and complex issues.

Assist with administration of employee benefits programs such as retirement plans; medical, dental, vision plans; life insurance plans; disability programs; and future wellness programs.
Handle employee benefits inquiries and to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution by interpreting benefit policies and procedures.
Liaison with outside benefits providers to expedite issue resolution
Serve as a back up to Benefits Coordinator on disability administration, communication and documentation
Assist with complex disability and workers comp issue
Attend annual enrollment meetings
Scheduled site visits for onboarding and assist with annual enrollment meetings
Coordinate with outside resources and legal to secure annual Summary Plan Documents (SPD) and Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC) documents.
Assist with completion of the annual Non-discrimination Test and 5500
Assist with completion of the 401k Audit
Assist with completion of FSA Non-discrimination Audit
Assist the third party vendor on annual ACA reporting documentation review
Coordinate appeals notification dissemination with legal and outside sources
Work with HR team and third party benefit vendors on fees and billing accuracy
Other duties as assigned

Proficient in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)

Position requires periodic local and overnight travel based on business needs.
