Directs Reports: None
- Performs coaching to crew members
- Identifies well-bore parameters and performs calculations
- Interprets and applies recommended practices to job role and operations
- Prepares, organizes and loads equipment
- Conducts on-site preparation and rig-up operations
- Support the service operation and rig-down operation
- Supports all safe acts and has stop authority
- Assembles bottom hole assembly and equipment
- Conducts snubbing operations
- May be requested to work outside of normal work schedule to meet customer needs
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent education
- Ability to coach to crew members using verbal communication and hands-on teaching
- 1+ yrs. experience in snubbing
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of rig-up, rig-down, and snubbing operations
- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as well as background check
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish)
- This job requires frequent moderate to heavy work
- Employee will be exposed to moderate to high noise and the potential of chemicals and fumes or gasses on location, if necessary
- Employee will stand or walk 25% - 50% of the time and frequently be asked to bend, squat, reach or climb.
Typical working conditions and hazards:
- Work is performed in all weather conditions
- Able to perform duties with protective equipment, H2S respirator where required
- Potential hazards include working near or with heavy tools and moving machinery
- Potential exposure to loud noises, airborne toxins, solvents, flammable atmospheres and industrial chemicals
- This is a safety sensitive position.
