WorleyParsons are recruiting a Radio Operator for our ConocoPhilips Project to work on the Judy Barge. This will be for up to 6 months, working on a 2/2 rotation

Key objective:

Ensure that all Helicopter and boat movements are planned and controlled to the highest standards of safety, health, environment and quality, ensuring installation operational activities can progress efficiently.

Primary duties:

  • Acts as Local Air traffic controller
  • Identify oncoming passenger detail and arrange bedding information
  • Ensure that personnel leaving the platform receive the Flight Safety Briefing
  • Maintain the Platform Personnel on board/bed availability details
  • Monitor the Very Short-Term Plan and act as the minute taker at the weekly plan review meetings
  • Monitor and coordinate the standby and supply boat requirements
  • Maintain Integrated Manning Chart for core crew personnel
  • Provide Emergency response as Muster Coordinator

Required qualifications / certification:

  • GMDSS
  • CAA VHF Radio
  • Vantage
  • BOSIET/MIST
  • OGUK Medical

Ideally, candidates will also have the following experience:

  • Licensed Offshore Radio Operator
  • Controlling Offshore Helicopter & Shipping Operations
  • Offshore experience essential
  • Computer literate with some knowledge of SAP
  • Knowledge of Global Marine Distress Safety System
  • Vantage experience
