Targa Resources, Inc. (Targa) is a leading provider of midstream natural gas and NGL services in the United States. We own and operate approximately 27,000 miles of natural gas and NGL pipelines, with 37 natural gas processing plants and natural gas gathering systems located primarily in the Permian Basin, North Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, North Dakota, and Louisiana regions.
Targa is currently seeking a Natural Gas Pipeline scheduler for the Corporate Office located in Houston, Texas.
Include nominating on pipeline EBB's, monitoring daily flow, cuts and imbalances, and pathing scheduled gas in Allegro (ETRM system) to provide data to accounting. Coordinate scheduling activities around plant and pipeline outages with customers, marketing and plant schedulers. Validate accuracy of reported volumes and rates and assist to resolve discrepancies. Responsible for rotating night and weekend activity. Other projects and duties may be assigned.
Minimum Essential Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years' experience in natural gas scheduling with an energy company required. Able to perform at a high level with minimum supervision in a team environment. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel. Strong oral and written communication skills, self-motivated, problem solver with a high attention to detail. College degree, Allegro Horizon and Oklahoma and/or Texas intrastate pipeline scheduling experience preferred. Must be available for compensated rotating night and weekend on-call responsibilities.
