We're seeking a bright analyst who's passionate about how we make a difference to the environment. It's the perfect opportunity to stretch your skills and develop your career, working for a positive, supportive employer.
Where you fit in
As an Environmental Reporting Systems Analyst, you'll be part of Shell's Environmental Reporting System (SERS). A team that supports reporting on environmental emissions, as well as local legal requirements.
External expectations on environmental reporting are naturally growing and as a company we are passionate and committed to making a visible difference to our carbon footprint and methane targets. This role is a vital part of the team responsible for tracking and managing our performance on these commitments and measuring our progress.
With SERS set to be replaced by end of 2022, you'll also have a unique opportunity to be part of the team helping to deliver a new system to support environmental reporting.
What's the role?
In this wide ranging role, you'll be working across specific projects, supporting a range of performance monitoring and reporting for air emissions and other environmental issues.
You'll need to keep abreast of ongoing external changes and updates, working with the Net Carbon Footprint team to ensure cohesive reporting, and remaining well-informed of the requirements of the Climate and Clean Air Coalition.
High levels of accuracy are required to collect detailed requirements and build and implement environmental models. On the one hand, you'll be ensuring those you support have accurate knowledge to complete reporting, supporting them with any IT needs. On the other, you'll be helping to implement processes, testing and delivering any changes into the system. All the while, playing a pivotal part in the review that will ensure the success of a replacement to SERS by the end of 2022.
