Saudi Aramco's Domestic Refining & NGL Fractionation team is seeking an experienced Rotating Equipment Engineer to work in the Jazan Refinery. The refinery will have the capacity to process 400,000BPD of Arabian Heavy and Arabian Medium crude oils to product gasoline, ultra-low-sulfur diesel, benzene and paraxylene.
As the successful candidate you will have:
A bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of nine years of experience in rotating equipment field covering design, installation, commissioning, monitoring, maintenance, failure modes, problems and troubleshooting.
Thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, U.S. and Aramco's Codes, Standards and Specifications.
Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
Familiarity with basic computer software.
Duties and Responsibilities
You will be required to perform the following:
Lead and support refineries in optimizing machinery performance and reliability at all refining sites, which will be accomplished by implementing and enhancing reliability engineering, maintenance, and operations practices associated with rotating equipment, and providing field support in troubleshooting and improving equipment performance.
Develop a comprehensive plan to achieve and maintain 6 year (or greater) machinery Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) in the entire refining system and assists with implementation of the plans.
Ensure rotating equipment incidents and performance issues are effectively investigated and root cause issues resolved.
Develop the Rotating Equipment Technical network which includes site rotating equipment engineers and maintenance supervisors.
Set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to align, coordinates the network and coaches network leaders to reach their objectives.
Develop, monitor and communicate reliability metrics, identify successes and potential areas for improvement.
