  • Participate in all daily JSEA meetings and JSEA development for daily tasks.
  • Make sure each member is aware of any Time Out or Stop Work issues
  • Review all issues when a Time Out is called and report immediately to all members of the TEAM
  • Direct all fabrication and maintenance projects as required.
  • Responsible for ensuring Quality Control tasks (dimensional checks, welding appearance, heat #'s & welder stencils, etc....) on all jobs are completed and followed by crew.
  • Work with company inspector on all pipe, vessel, and package jobs.
  • Approve daily time for personnel each morning as reported for previous days' time.
  • Ensure all personnel are accounted for on daily time sheets.
  • Continually work with Project Manager and Company Rep to develop efficiency and quality improvements
  • Supervision of all job duties.
  • Make sure all members of your TEAM are working safely under the coordination of the company as well as project manager's requests.
  • Collect completed drawings and submit to QA/QC within 24 hours of fabrication completion. Drawings to include the following fitter information:
    • Heat Numbers for materials utilized
    • Pre-weldout dimensional confirmation
  • Project Manager and Company Rep are to be main point of contact for all updates, clarifications, or other daily project business with the Project Management and Project Coordinator. Division Manager is to be kept informed and copied in on all correspondence pertaining to project execution/Project Management.
  • Advise Project Managers, Personnel, and company representative of material needs to maintain job continuity based on material requirements lists ( designated representative)
  • Keep equipment in tool area maintained. Advise company representative of equipment failures or purchases required.
  • Obtain Fab drawings from QA/QC Department (Project Manager or Company Rep) and Assign/Issue and communicate any specific fabrication requirements and needs
  • In the event of a priority or scheduling conflict of project workloads, consult with Division Manager and Company Rep on situation so a solution can be made by all involve
  • Monitor daily housekeeping needs/requirements
  • Monitor personnel departure/return from crew chang
  • Ensure Safe Work Practices and Acadian Safety Policies are observed and followed
  • Enforce disciplinary action as required with regards to personnel required job duties, attendance, quality of work, and adherence to company policie
  • Formally report any repetitive and/or substantial personnel quality, accuracy, workmanship, or reliability issues to Shop Superintendent and Division Manager for follow up and mitigating actions to be taken through progressive discipline.
  • Always have a positive attitude towards customers being serviced, as well as ACI as a company.
  • Leaders must make a personal commitment and be accountability for the HSE results, driving towards achievement of HSE goals. These goals must be clearly communicated through their direct reports, with clear expectations while coaching, mentoring and empowering others to achieve the desired results.
