The QHSSE Technician will maintain, facilitate and promote QHSSE program activities on Fugro offshore work sites. Monitor project QHSSE Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and assist in successful QHSSE project achievements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide QHSSE support in a marine environment for project management and operations support within multiple Service Lines. Monitor project QHSSE Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and assist in successful QHSSE project achievements. Assist offshore supervisory personnel in QHSSE activities in a marine environment. Complete and submit QHSSE Daily Progress Reports. Properly report incidents and initiate investigation process when necessary. Assist in QHSSE project planning activities; including Project HSE Plans, Emergency Response Plans, Project HAZIDs, etc. Participate in project start-up meetings. Conduct training are various QHSSE topics. Actively promote the Hazard Observation program. Adheres to all company policies and procedures. Performs other duties or completes special projects as assigned.

Ability to travel and work offshore up to 60% of the time. Proficient in use of Office Administration software. Ability to obtain an OGUK medical. Ability to obtain a BOSIET certification. Ability of obtain a TWIC.
High school diploma Formal training in HSE-related studies preferred. One+ year in HSE-related role. One+ year in offshore experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
To perform this job successfully, the employee must be able to operate the following:
Microsoft Office software, Database software and Internet
Certificates and Licenses:
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license, passport and Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Primary work environment will be an offshore marine vessel performing survey services for Fugro.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate noise.

- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
