Our client is looking for a Maintenance Technician (shift work) for a 12 month contract position, located in Dyce



  • Execute responsive, preventative and predictive maintenance requirements to all machines/equipment in the Well screen Technologies facility to ensure maximum production levels.
  • To perform day to day activities in accordance with the planned maintenance program.
  • Carry out daily inspections of all Well screen Technology and ancillary equipment.



  • Previous production maintenance background.
  • Knowledge of Water Jet Cutting & High-Pressure operations.
  • Good understanding of Hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical system fault finding.
  • Electronics troubleshooting and repair skills are critical.
  • Experience in multi axis motion systems.
  • General computer literacy and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Gantry Crane and Forklift operation within a workshop
  • General education to Secondary Level as a minimum with English and Math's as mandatory
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related qualification. City and Guilds tradesman qualifications acceptable in maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems



  • Previous production maintenance background.
  • Experience of electronic control systems.
  • Experience of multi-axis motion control systems.
  • Experience in the maintenance of laser equipment.
  • Self-motivated, pro-active and be willing to learn new skills and able to work on own initiative
  • Reliable, committed and responsible individual with a positive attitude and willing to adapt to a varied work load
  • Good communication skills and be able to establish good working relationships with fellow colleagues. 
  • Must be a team player that is willing to take responsibility and ownership for their work and environment
