Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Process Engineer, Chevron Technology Marketing (TEMA) located in Richmond, California.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Perform day-to-day functions such as PFD, PCD, P&ID generation, process modeling and simulation, equipment design, hydraulic calculations and sizing of piping, etc., per established procedures using both Chevron and CLG standards and tools.
  • Use the pre-FEED software COMOS® to develop PFDs, P&IDs and Equipment Datasheets, interact with other Process engineers, Mechanical Engineers and CAD designers for completing Engineering Design Packages packages. Engineers are expected to develop proficiency in use of this software.
  • Expected to continuously improve design work processes, procedures and tools.
  • Actively demonstrate Chevron Way behaviors and promote Incident and Injury Free culture (IIF).
  • Complete all mandatory Chevron training on time.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' Degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related engineering experience.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience providing plant process engineering support in a refinery or chemical plant .
  • Experience with process simulation and modeling, Process Flow Diagrams, Process Control Diagrams, Piping & Instrument Diagrams and equipment design.
