JOB DESCRIPTION

Supervise activities concerned with production of company products.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Know and understand Weatherford's Enterprise Excellence Program and the Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions

Must understand and comply with all Weatherford and regulatory safety policies.

Must understand and comply with all applicable licensee requirements.

Establish work schedules and maintain employee time and attendance.

Monitor employee performance, write and administer corrective action.

Monitor employee performance, write and administer performance reviews.

Interview and assess potential new hire candidates.

Plan and establish production schedules. Make adjustments as bottlenecks occur.

Requisition supplies as necessary to meet delivery schedule.

Review, explain and take action to correct work order variances.

Provide reports on manufacturing performance such as productivity, scrap, output, etc.

Train employees on JSAs, policies and procedures.

Train and implement 5S, Safety, Quality, Productivity, ISO and LEAN improvements

Reduce production cost by implementing improvement activity

Conserve Company assets.

Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Machining or other manufacturing knowledge

Good written and verbal communication skills and experience

Ability and experience to train and coach employees.

Ability to train, lead and implement improvement activities like 5S, Safety, Scrap Reduction, Quality and Productivity improvements.

Must be able to utilize Microsoft office products. i.e. excel spreadsheets, word formats, power point presentations and email.

Ability to use support systems.

Ability to track and control cost of goods sold, operating, and budgets and minimize variances

Ability to present information to top management, piers and subordinates.

Ability to work and interact with others.

5-7 years manufacturing

5 years machining knowledge

5 years supervisory experience

The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.

Preferred:

Experience with time and attendance

Experience with JDE or equivalent

Experience with LEAN

2 years of college.
