Job Description

If you're looking for the perfect environment to grow your technical and leadership skills, here's a great opportunity. Combine your passion for data with your management expertise and help drive Shell's global success.

What's the role?

This is a job that will call on your diverse range of skills. From managing the development of new Geo-Information projects, to providing your expert technical advice to a variety of teams across the business. You'll be leading from the front, spotting new developments and technologies, confidently getting across the business value of services, whilst keeping ahead of the competition.

More specifically, you'll be maintaining and developing our Geographical Information Systems (GIS), from databases and processes, to portals and web applications, continuously improving our data services to meet customer needs. Importantly, you'll need to have a keen eye for potential risks, ensuring we meet the high HSE standards we expect.

To succeed, we'll expect you to rise to the challenge of ensuring Shell gets the very best out of its Geo-Information: creating workflows, scripts, tools, or models, that will enhance the data flow, improve analysis, and, ultimately, drive our business performance.

As a natural people person, you'll relish the chance to nurture highly collaborative relationships, sharing knowledge and experiences, with a range of stakeholders, from other Geo-Information teams and Survey Operations to IT colleagues and project teams.

As the role is Assen based, it's important that you are willing to work in NAM Assen for longer term.

In return, we'll give you all the support and flexibility you need to develop both professionally and personally.
