Responsible for full life-cycle recruiting across various engineering disciplines and corporate positions including: Project Managers, Mechanical Engineers, Instrument/Electrical Engineers, Structural/Civil Engineers, Procurement, Drafters and Designers.

 

  • Create and update all job postings internally and externally using the company website and job boards.
  • Source and pre-screen candidates via phone, facilitate background and reference checks and schedule interviews.
  • Negotiate rates and contract terms with Department Managers and qualified candidates.
  • Interact with Department Managers and Company Officers for updates on current job needs, creating job descriptions, submitting candidates, scheduling interviews, interview feedback and development of offer letters. • Attend weekly meetings with Department Managers and Project Managers to discuss project details and updates for recruiting needs.
  • Communicate with outside employment agencies to keep them up to date with our current recruiting needs.
  • Assist HR Manager with electronic records management for Human Resource files.
  • Create bi-annual salary reviews, raise letters and staff change forms.
  • Support HR Manager with enrolling and terminating employees in Company insurance plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related.
  • At least two (2) + years of experience in oil and gas recruitment required. • Previous experience as HR Admin is a plus.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks appropriately.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage a high workload and utilize full-cycle recruiting strategies.
