Customer Service Rep (CSR) will process Request for Quote (RFQ) from internal customers as well as external customers. CSR will then create a folder referencing quote number, and end user of the product. A quote log will be managed by the Customer Service Team, referencing quote information and duration to close out quote. CSR will manage each order as a project (from start of the order, until it reaches its final destination) and will communicate with Purchasing, Shipping and Receiving, and Manufacturing on a daily bases to insure each and every order is on track. CSR will communicate with each customer to relay information pertaining to their order, and to insure the order is on time. CSR will also communicate with Weatherford's logistics team to insure all appropriate documents for international orders are collected and provided to the end user.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enter Sales orders as received from domestic, international and intercompany customers.
Coordinate request for quotations with Engineering and Manufacturing.
Coordinate order changes with customer and manufacturing.
Provide technical assistance whenever possible.
Expedite rush orders as required.
Work with supervisor to handle issues that require assistance in resolving.
Callout when scheduled.
Filing and other administrative duties as required.
Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality System Manual, Quality Procedure Manual, and Department Operating Procedures.
Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraint of the job.
Work directly with suppliers to obtain best pricing possible
Invoice orders as they are completed
Get stencilling information from logistics team and pass that information on to Manufacturing/ Shipping and Receiving to have product stencilled
Arrange outside services for packaging
Understand the product we offer and what it does
Provide Bill of Materials and work order routings per order
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Professional attitude and phone etiquette.
Ability to effectively work with employees, supervisors, vendors, and customers.
General knowledge in computers including the use of Microsoft Office programs.
Proficient typing skills.
The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
1-2 years prior customer service experience
