We are seeking a Head of Commercialization to join the Communication & Relations Group of the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture Department
The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) is an iconic landmark building, a beacon for knowledge to illuminate, inspire, and catalyze the potential of the Kingdom's vast talent pool. Ithra is an all-purpose culture destination, an environment for transformative experiences to unlock the power of potential through mastery in arts, science, literature, and innovation. Facilities include an idea lab, library, theater, museum, energy exhibit, art gallery, children's museum, and a knowledge tower housed under one roof to provide visitors with an immersive and transformative experience.
You will have overall responsibility for managing Ithra's ticketing pricing strategy, sales, and marketing activities in addition to the development, strategizing, and implementation of Ithra's marketing and sales opportunities and plans with the key target of increasing sales revenue and driving traffic to the Center via targeted marketing campaigns. You must demonstrate thorough knowledge in marketing, financial and sales planning, and align with the existing marketing initiatives, campaigns, and the overall purpose of Ithra's communications function.
As the successful candidate you will hold a master's degree or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising, or a related field.
You will have 10 years of experience in marketing, sales, or a related field within a marketing or communications department; with work experience preferably in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.
Flexibility of rotating around different departments in the Center that will encourage activity and overall growth of the Center.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
Regular management of marketing sales ensuring they are on track for achieving KPIs.
Set sales and marketing KPIs to manage activity within the team.
Oversee all marketing activity and ensuring it fits with the Ithra marketing strategy.
Report on activities toward targets to Ithra senior management.
Put together a content marketing strategy for Ithra.
Ensure Ithra is search engine optimized to maximize inbound sales opportunities.
Meet marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Analyze trends and results; establishing pricing strategies; recommending selling prices; monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand.
Identify marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.
Improve product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improving product packaging; coordinating new product development.
Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Apply a detailed analysis of the Center's commercial activities including the identification of new revenue streams, partnerships, and development of pricing strategies.
Identify and recommend new revenue generating business opportunities
Coach and develop other team members.
