Gas Commercial Operations Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Gas Commercial Operations Analyst to work for a leading Oil & Gas Company in the UAE.

The position is a permanent staff role, with a family status Expat package attached.

Gas Commercial Operations Analyst:

This role will see you support the Gas Commercial Operations Manager in managing the commercial aspect of the contractual relationships between LNG and Pipeline Gas Suppliers/Shippers, the Operations Team and Commercial/Strategy departments.

You will be ensuring the successful delivery of LNG to the terminals by planning / coordinating the cargo schedules with all relevant stakeholders, lead the ship-terminal and marine assurance processes and managing the communication / documentation of LNG delivery. You will be responsible for the commercial / risks overview on the contractual, operational and marine aspects of the LNG delivery programme.

You will be providing operational and marine expertise associated with the commercial operations of the terminal and associated agreements.

Requirements:

We are looking for you to be degree qualified in either an Engineering or Business discipline, with a minimum of 5 years' experience working in the Oil & Gas sector.

You should have prior experience in a similar role, preferably in LNG and/or pipeline gas.

It is important you have experience in the commercial optimisation of major oil/gas assets, in particular Shipping, Terminal operations and Pipelines.

You should have extensive knowledge of Gas and LNG commercial agreements.

It is expected you will have highly effective interpersonal skills, with excellent written and oral English communication skills. You should be able to show prior ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders, strong commercial acumen and strong analytical skills.
