Our client is looking for a Storekeeper for a contract position, located in Portlethen.

 

ROLE:

Responsible for the receipt and dispatch of Equipment along with the operation of store systems and related processes.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Forklift duties including the loading, unloading and storage of equipment.
  • Picking and Packing of Equipment Requests and Returns
  • Process Inventory Transactions on Inventory Management Systems inclusive of SLB and Client Owned Inventories.
  • Perform Goods Receipt from physical checking to systems entry including Bar-Code Scanning and Labels 
  • Participate in Physical Stock Checks and Reconciliations.
  • Monthly Bar-Code Cycle Counts
  • Communicate with client's logistics groups on delivery and receipt of material.
  • Ensuring all tasks and duties are performed in accordance with QHSE policy and management systems

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Standard grades with basic computer skills
  • Related Experience:
  • Goods handling and materials control with warehouse / stores background
  • Inventory Management and Process Control Systems
  • Special Training: HMRC Customs and Excise procedures and regulation awareness
  • Ability to work as part of a team and also independently unsupervised
  • Forklift Driving Certificates
  • Basic Computer Skills in Excel and Word
  • Demonstrate an enthusiastic, self motivated and flexible approach to meeting operational requirements.
