JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Western Hemisphere Total Rewards Manager, and working in close collaboration with HR COE and business partners, the Total Rewards Manager - Latin America leads total rewards initiatives for Latin America Geozones and serves as the key resources related to total reward practices for assigned client groups.

 DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partner with Geozone Vice Presidents and HR Managers to research, recommend, plan and implement (1) cohesive compensation and benefits philosophy and strategy, (2) base pay structures and practices, including system integration, and (3) variable/incentive pay systems, structures and practices.

Provide technical expertise, advice and guidance regarding pay rates, equity, market rates, and placement in ranges, benefits (e.g., medical/life insurance, leave benefits), union and government-mandates as applicable to all total rewards programs.

Analyze Geozone total rewards policies in relation to government regulations, prevailing rates for similar jobs in comparable industries or geographic areas and recommend changes as appropriate to establish and maintain competitive rates.

Provide day-to-day supervision and management guidance to assigned direct reports, some of whom may be based in other countries.  Provide training to HR representatives and line managers within assigned client groups.

Ensure that total rewards practices and processes meet internal controls compliance and regulatory requirements of the country.

Understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level. Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Knowledge of employment, wage and hour and other related laws

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to write reports and proposals

Ability to operate effectively within a matrix structure, navigate organizational complexity, and work in a global, virtual environment across multiple time zones

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

7+ years Compensation experience.

Minimum three (3) years of experience managing total rewards programs within multiple Latin American countries.

Physical ability to respond to typical building/office emergency situations in a timely manner

Preferred:

Proficiency in using PeopleSoft report tools

Bilingual (English and Spanish) speaking candidates preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.

PHR/SPHR Certification

GRP / CCP Certification
