JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for supervising and performing QA/QC for a Drilling Service R&M Workshop.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead, mentor, and provide supervision for QA/QC personnel at the Workshop.

Performs all duties associated with RM QC Inspector I, RM QC Inspector II, RM QC Inspector III

Responsible for the development of QA/QC personnel and the tracking of their training progress and competencies; must be actively involved in promotion reviews and training planning.

Responsible for prioritizing equipment inspections in collaboration with Service Line Coordinators to meet demand requirements.

Collaborates with R&M SL Manager and other Service Line Supervisors to plan inspections to equipment and establish when they will be completed.

Responsible for regularly communicating to relevant Operations personnel the status of equipment inspections including estimated completion date.

Responsible for ensuring all necessary upgrades or modifications are performed as per Engineering changed notifications from respective SL Product Engineering.

Responsible for ensuring all QC / R&M paperwork / inspection documentation and records are accurate, up to date, filled out correctly and completely.

Responsible for performing and reporting Non-conformances identified during inspection process.

Responsible for ensuring all Service Delivery Quality management systems including service records pertaining to DS applications are utilized and accurate and up to date (JDE,WO, AIRTs, NCRs, PFTs, TPFTs, CRs, TCN etc.).

Responsible for ensuring respective areas is kept efficiently organized and equipped with necessary supplies and tools, and it is clean and free of debris, grease, oil, water, mud, and any other form of trash daily, and paint when needed to keep the shop looking new and maintain an image of a quality workshop meeting Weatherford Drilling Services standards of excellence.

Collaborate with other service line supervisors to ensure all workshop equipment is maintained in good order, all calibrations are up to date, and the documentation for both is kept.

Responsible for personnel management; plan for personnel changes, forecast changes in personnel levels, source local recruits, collaborate with R&M Manager, Regional and Global R&M Management to review available personnel resources and select recruits.

Collaborate with other service line supervisors to ensure all workshop equipment is maintained in good order, all calibrations are up to date, and the documentation for both is kept.

Coordinate with Global R&M personnel to facilitate Technical Audits and ensure all corrective actions are implemented and effective.

Responsible for regularly collecting and summarizing R&M Key Performance Indicators and providing to R&M Manager for submission to Global R&M Management.

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Attending mandatory safety meetings and maintaining Company property and equipment in safe operating conditions at all times.

Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

Promote Weatherford Safety and Quality culture among the organization

Implementation of Weatherford OEPS standards

Ensure supplier Quality where needed

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong communication, organizing, troubleshooting, and multi-tasking skills, especially when under pressure

Positive attitude, with a high degree of self-discipline and self-motivation

Thorough knowledge of Drilling Services service line products and services

User of Excel, Work, and Outlook

A technical background with previous experience in Weatherford Drilling Services

Five years 'hands-on' experience in oilfield R&M environment where Drilling Services products are serviced.

R&M Supervisory Level Experience - M/LWD/RSS/DHM Competencies

NDT Lead Inspector experience

EMI level II

MT level II

PT level II

Preferred:

Thorough knowledge of Weatherford Drilling Services service line products and services

Technical degree in Engineering or equivalent experience

Five years 'hands-on' experience in oilfield R&M environment where the Weatherford Drilling services products are serviced

Previous R&M team leadership experience
