Working as part of our global, virtual team of Trade Compliance Managers, you'll be combining your ever-evolving knowledge and expertise in trade compliance, with your passion and appetite for business.
We'll be looking to you to provide advice and guidance on all standard trade compliance issues, with a key challenge to identify and assess risks, sharing these effectively throughout Shell. Working off your own initiative, you'll make good use of your knowledge of trade compliance procedures, as well as the Integrated Gas/New Energies business. That means confidently navigating project challenges and conflicting demands, from sanctions and customs to imports and exports.

The role requires a strong communicator who thrives working collaboratively within a diverse team, up to senior level, with the energy and enthusiasm to motivate and encourage positivity. You'll call on your Bachelor's degree, along with extensive professional trade compliance experience. Beyond that, we're keen to hear from men and women who have a flair for communication, both verbally and in writing. Any of the following will also be useful:
- Knowledge of the Integrated Gas and New Energies businesses, trade compliance laws and regulations.
- Ideally, some knowledge and usage of trade compliance tools and software.
- An ability to identify trade compliance risks and develop internal controls and procedures.
- An understanding of Incoterms.
- Proven strong research and analytic capabilities.
