Job Summary

This position is located at the Anadarko Regional Office in Midland, TX as a member of Anadarko's Operations Health, Safety & Environmental Team. Position will be responsible for the management/coordination of Air Quality compliance activities associated with our operations in the Delaware Basin.


  • At least four (4) years of HSE experience required; at least eight (8) years of air quality experience preferred.

  • Gas plant and/or Refinery experience preferred.

  • Air Quality consulting experience preferred.

  • Broad knowledge and understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental, procedures, and regulations as they apply to oil and natural gas operations.

  • Knowledge and experience with air quality regulations, Federal, Texas, and New Mexico.

  • Experience with air quality permitting and compliance.

  • Experience with air quality compliance reporting, notifications, and submittals.

  • Proficient technical and computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


  • Partner with Operations teams to provide air quality compliance support.

  • Develop compliance programs and conduct training.

  • Assist in the development and management of environmental management systems.

  • Work with and assist operations to provide HSE support on projects and programs.

  • Ensure communication of HSE expectations for projects and periodically assess against these expectations.

  • Continuous support on Loss of Primary Containment Program.

  • Assist the Corporate Process Safety team with implementation and monitoring of continuous improvement efforts regarding process safety.

  • Assist with Management of Change and Process Safety Start-up Reviews.

  • Assist and provide support with HSE meetings.

  • Participate on the Anadarko's Incident Management Team for Emergency Response.


Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering or other related field preferred. High School Diploma or GED required. 4 Plus years of experience required with a Bachelor's degree. 10 or more Years Relevant Experience without Bachelor's Degree .


Valid driver's license with no restriction that would prohibit driving a company vehicle.


This position may be eligible for domestic relocation.

Travel Requirements

Only local travel is required for this position.

Work Schedule

This position is eligible for the 5/40 or 9/80 work schedule
