Job Summary

This position is located in Woodlands, as a member of the Risk Performance and Assurance team in HSE.


  • Minimum of seven (7) years managing systems and technology related projects, preferably within Oil and Gas

  • Significant experience of working in the oil and gas Project and Management Systems, as relevant to this role

  • Must have experience with HSE contractor management and HSE Training

  • Effective interpersonal skills dealing with personnel at various levels and in a variety of functions

  • Experience of leading change in a complex organization

  • Experience of delivering training programs

  • Experience of managing and working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
  • Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office

  • Develop and sustain the Systems, Technologies and Training in line with the required legislative, regulation, industry standards, and business requirements across the organization through existing and new procedures

  • Develop, Implement, Manage and sustain HSE management system and implement all relevant procedures described in the HSE Management System (HMS)

  • Develop, implement and sustain information and critical document control management system

  • Regulate, control and improve the quality of all processes throughout the businesses and the Company with respect to HSE projects & technologies, training and management systems.

  • Manage system and technology integration through HSE organization

  • Ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised and modified to meet the needs

  • Ensure that all necessary systems and procedures are in place to satisfy all customer requirements and audits

  • Introduce new systems and procedures where appropriate

  • Managing the HSE training organization to effectively and efficiently deliver all training requirements

  • Ownership of the development and implementation of the HSE training and competency matrix and associated requirements

  • Identify business improvement opportunities within the organization

  • Develop, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility

  • Ensure KPIs are met by working to the overall plan, including management of, and reporting

  • Report on achievement of targets and identify any actions required
  • Deliver standardized and consistent HSE messaging on all HSE Projects and initiatives - ensure overall alignment with Corporate HSE Vision and goals.


Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering or other related field preferred.


Valid driver's license with no restriction that would prohibit driving a company vehicle.


This position may be eligible for domestic relocation.

Travel Requirements

Only local travel is required for this position. Periodic travel (5-10%) outside of region may be requested.

Work Schedule

This position is eligible for the 5/40 or 9/80 work schedule.
