This senior position is located in Anadarko's The Woodlands corporate office as a member of the Optimization, Technology & Automation (OTA) department, focusing on SAP FICO support with a concentration in GL, CCA and PCA. As the FI resource, this position is responsible for working directly with business customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues as well as identify, prioritize and deliver system and process enhancements. Candidates should have strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with employees and departments across Anadarko. A flexible and positive work attitude and the ability to produce results under tight deadlines is essential in order to manage changing priorities.
8 years' work experience in the oil & gas industry is preferred
8 years' SAP IS Oil FICO, ECC 6, EhP7 or higher is preferred
Experience with FI integration with other SAP modules, specifically MM, SD, and HR - Labor Accounting/Payroll is preferred
SAP S4 experience is highly preferred
Working knowledge in Joint Venture Accounting is preferred
Excellent written and oral communication, collaboration and inter-personal skills
Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
Ability to work with internal business partners to understand and define business requirements, manage expectations, and implement solutions that meet business needs
Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
Ability to test changes in system functionality, follow documentation, and sign-off procedures
Commitment to detail, quality and continuous improvement under tight deadlines
Participate as part of the Accounting and Finance team supporting SAP IS Oil modules with a concentration on FI and CO (domestic & international)
Create and maintain business process documentation, requirements specifications, test scripts, and training materials
Perform analysis of business processes and identify improvement opportunities
Design, document, and test improvements to SAP and interfaces with other applications
Test activities by creating test plans, writing and performing test scripts, reviewing testing outcome with the business, and obtaining appropriate business sign-off
Provide support, as required. Engage appropriate OTA, Anadarko, and outside experts, if necessary, to resolve issues
Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, or Business with concentration in Computer Science/Management Information Systems
This position may be eligible for relocation
The percentage of travel for this position is 0-10%
This position is eligible for the 9/80 work schedule
