Optimize and improve rig maintenance practices through continual review of standard PM tasks, PM change requests and recommendations from the subject matter expert team. Approve maintenance plans developed using the blueprint process in accordance with DNV-GL approved PMS-RCM process
Recommend changes in PM tasks based on strategy, scope or policy and procedure changes to improve overall cost effectiveness and/or maintenance practices (i.e. change of a 5-yearly PM major overhaul to Condition based maintenance with necessary Class/ Regulatory approvals where applicable)
Develop and implement CBM strategy for the fleet and verify effectiveness and regulatory approval for new and emerging condition monitoring techniques for rig equipment systems, provided by OEMs.
Work with the company maintenance personnel to ensure proper standardization and set up of the CMMS so that the system provides valuable data with regard to maintenance history, trends, compliance with manufacturer recommendations, and company requirements.
Maintain and plan CMMS improvements in conjunction IT support functions; ensure the CMMS provides and retrieves required data between other company systems and is accurate.
Work with field support groups to ensure that lateral learning is applied through the company system across the fleet Supervise the custom and standard reports produced by the CMMS to ensure consistent reporting across the fleet
Work on Special projects as directed by management.
Demonstrate commitment to company safety policies through leadership and guidance.
Ensure regulatory requirements for environmental protection are complied with.
Appraise, mentor, develop and train personnel in the group to ensure they are competent to work at their next job level.

EDUCATION: Engineering degree or equivalent maintenance training and related experience.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years' experience in a matured maintenance or reliability department deploying RCM, CBM, or other predictive maintenance management techniques.
SKILLS: Computer knowledge, office applications, strong oral and written communication skills
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to understand and experience with database applications management a plus.
SUPERVISION: Over maintenance specialists, best practice team, administrative assistant, maintenance training specialists. Directly and indirectly manage team of 10-15 personnel.
BUDGETS: Generate annual maintenance system development budget, personnel budget.
INGENUITY: Ingenuity is required in the area of maintenance improvements to effectively improve equipment safety and reliability while maintaining a competitive maintenance cost structure. Candidates should demonstrate rigor in use of reliability data in terms of identifying improvement opportunities and establishing cross functional teams to deliver these improvements.
DECISION MAKING: Approval of the work of others. Assist subordinates in establishing and define goals and priorities. Selection and advancement of personnel within the maintenance organization.
