Saudi Aramco, long known for its leadership in oil exploration, production and refining, is seeking experienced professionals to join our growing Unconventional Resources (UR) program. You will lead inventory management for the developing unconventional resources assets at Saudi Aramco.
You will take on a leadership role in our dedicated Unconventional Resources Supply Chain organization, with responsibilities in the Materials Management function.
As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a closely related field and a Masters would be desirable.
You will have a minimum of 10 years of experience within materials management function in Unconventional Resources.
You will have direct experience working within an Inventory Management function in the oil & gas industry.
You will have experience working in an outsourced model where the logistics and warehousing activities are outsourced to a third party service provider (3PL).
You will also have knowledge of leadership, direction, and strategy for end to end logistics, warehousing and inventory activities across Shale and
Conventional oil and gas assets globally. Ensure quality, cost and delivery needs are met while minimizing risk in accordance with defined policies and procedures
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
Develop, from the ground up, a fit for purpose and efficient Materials Management strategy for the UR Supply Chain. This includes: the development of inventory management policies and procedures.
Develop and track corresponding KPI's.
Management of warehousing and logistics service providers
Establish an inventory counting methodology and schedule
Implement the methodology by leading full wall to wall inventory counts, and regular occurring cycle counts.
Coordinate of day to day Materials Management activities to ensure robust service delivery and the fulfillment of internal UR end user requirements (e.g. exploration, drilling, production, surface operations, projects, and support functions)
Relate, measure, and report forecast accuracy and the impacts it has on suppliers and operations
Conduct current and future forecasting analysis, insuring forecasting processes and methods are followed along with continuous improvement utilizing all data pertinent to creating the demand forecast (historical demand, market trends, seasonality accounts and inventory levels.)
Establish and utilize best methods (statistical models and software tools) in creating forecasts and respective inventory targets.
Make recommended adjustments to forecast and inventory targets based on changes in demand and market trends.
Manage inventory targets (including safety stock levels) that are approved by management.
Monitor SKU levels and recommend SKU rationalization initiatives in the future
Process and disposition of all related to materials.
Review and release all MRP planned requisitions to replenish stock that maintains stock levels set in the system by Inventory Analyst's.
Review and action all MRP exceptions and resolve issues to make sure materials are available for planned work.
