HIGH LEVEL JOB DESCRIPTION/SCOPE: An I&E Specialist is responsible to install, commission, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate, electronic and pnuemeatic process control and monitoring devices including but not limited to: PLCs, RTUs, samplers, level, pressure and temperature monitors and controllers, gas detection systems, IP, ethernet and radio communication systems, level and presssure switches and other surface safety devices. The successful candidate must also be capable to become competent enough in the operation and function of the AMBU SCADA system to utilize available tools for analytical purposes and provide support where needed.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Actively support Health, Environment, and Safety processess by accomplishing daily activities within applicable regulations and policies
  • Carrying out duties in an environmentally conscious manner
  • Following safe operating practices as described in the Appalachian/Mountain Business Unit Safe Practices manual
  • Maintaining a safe work environment
  • Being prepared to respond to an environmental or safety event
  • Attend sppecialized I&E training designed to develop the competency to operate & maintain process control and monitoring equipment

 


Required Qualifications:

 

 

  • High Scool Diploma
  • 6 months experience in the Instrumentation Field, Oil & Gas, or Manufacturing
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, & Outlook with the ability to learn new software packages quickly
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of Telemetry Systems
  • Must reside within approximately 30 miles from office or field locations (Uniontown or Moundsville) or willing to relocate
  • Must be available for after hour & on call services at a minimum of one week per month
  • Must be available to work overtime, weekends, & holidays

 


Preferred Qualifications:

 

 

  • Oil & Gas related experience
  • Technical related certification or degree
  • SCADA and/or programming related experience
  • Communication network experience
  • Experience with ROC, Allen Bradley, or other associated infrastructure
