Russia's Transneft: Oil Pipeline Fire Will Not Affect Export Schedule

Reuters

MOSCOW, Jan 19 (Reuters) - A fire at the Samara-Tikhoretsk pipeline will not affect Russia's oil export schedule and the pipeline is expected to resume pumping oil no later than Jan. 21, Russia's Transneft said on Friday.

Transneft also said oil loadings from the Black Sea port of Novorossiisk will be resumed later on Friday after a storm warning was lifted.

The oil pipeline, which ships Siberia Light oil to refineries and Russian Black Sea export terminals, caught fire in the Saratov region on Thursday.
