Oil & Gas UK Board Appoints 3 'Key Leaders'

Three “key leaders” in the upstream sector have joined the board of Oil & Gas UK, the industry body has announced.

The new appointments comprise David Clark, Aker Solution’s executive vice president (services), Kenny Dey, UK managing director at Archer, and Nick Terrell, managing director for Azinor Catalyst and chair of the UK Oil and Gas Authority’s Maximizing Economic Recovery Exploration Taskforce.

“Our new board appointments have already demonstrated they have the qualities we need to drive further progress on industry’s road to recovery,” Deirdre Michie, Oil & Gas UK chief executive, said in an organization statement.

“Across the sector, effective leadership has helped us become fitter and leaner, and I would like to thank board members past and present for their role in enabling us to tackle the challenge of maximizing economic recovery while helping to boost profitability in the supply chain,” Michie added.

“Our focus now is to build on these achievements to ensure the UKCS remains competitive and attractive to investors. I look forward to working with our board to ensure we deliver on that objective in what remains a demanding business environment,” Michie continued.
