Israel's Oil Refineries Names Yashar Ben Mordechai As CEO
JERUSALEM, Nov 29 (Reuters) - Israel's Oil Refineries (ORL), the country's largest refining and petrochemicals group, said on Wednesday it appointed Yashar Ben Mordechai as its new chief executive.
Ben Mordechai already served as ORL's CEO for more than decade until stepping down in 2011. He replaces Avner Maimon who submitted his resignation earlier this month after a little more than two years in the job.
"Yashar's rich experience and deep familiarity with the company, with the industry, with the capital market and other elements will contribute to a smooth transition and the continued success and prosperity of the ORL Group," said chairman Ovadia Eli.
ORL is controlled by holding company Israel Corp.
