Bristow Secures East Shetland Helicopter Contract to Support TAQA

Bristow has secured a contract to support the Abu Dhabi National Energy Company PJSC’s (TAQA) UK operations in the east Shetland basin.

Under the deal, Bristow will provide helicopter offshore crew change services for TAQA’s work on the paragon mss1 project. The contract will last for an estimated 18-months.

Bristow is working in partnership with Eastern Airways to deliver the contract utilizing an existing Sikorsky S-92 and SAAB 2000 aircraft.

"I would like to thank the UK commercial and operations teams for the hard work and dedication that resulted in securing and delivering this work," Matt Rhodes, Bristow UK oil and gas director, said in a company statement.

"This opportunity will demonstrate the flexibility that a combined Bristow and Eastern Airways service can provide to the oil and gas industry,” he added.
