Chevron holds the most valuable U.S. shale portfolio in terms of total net present value (NPV), according to Rystad Energy.
The total NPV for Chevron’s U.S. shale portfolio is $72 billion, with the company’s acreage in the Permian Delaware alone standing at nearly $60 billion in NPV, Rystad Energy highlighted.
EOG Resources has the second most valuable U.S. shale portfolio in terms of total NPV, at $42 billion, and Shell holds the third most valuable U.S. shale portfolio with a total NPV of $31 billion, according to Rystad Energy.
