Saudi Aramco Awards 28-Jacket Project
A consortium of Larsen & Toubro and Subsea 7 subsidiaries has won an EPCI contract from Saudi Aramco.

Saudi Aramco has awarded units of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and Subsea 7 an engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contract for 28 offshore jackets, L&T reported Thursday.

A consortium of L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering Limited (LTHE) and EMAS AMC PTE Ltd. will execute the project, which calls for offshore jackets in Saudi Arabia’s Zuluf, Marjan, Sfaniya and Ribyan fields, L&T stated.

According to L&T, the project will rely on LTHE fabrication facilities in the Middle East and India. The company stated the contract value ranges from 25 billion to 50 billion Indian rupees (approximately US$ 349 million to US$ 697 million).
